IFYE Participant Initial Application
Our initial application process consists of submitting the application form below along with your non-refundable $50 initial application fee. Questions/sections marked with an asterisk (*) are required. We request that you also submit your head and shoulders photo and resume (if available) along with your application and payment. Simply follow the instructions at the bottom of this page.
The IFYE foreign exchange program is for individuals 19 and older and typically lasts 3 or 6 months. Please indicate your preference below:

Include your experiences in 4-H, church, school, university, FFA and other.
After completing this initial application form please submit it along with the $50 non-refundable application fee, your photo and resume below. You can continue the application process by going to Step 2 and submitting the Interview Application form and $100 non-refundable interview application fee. The IFYE National Program Director, Alan Lambert, will get in touch with you to discuss the remaining fee payment structure. The program fee is $3,000 for each participant, plus any passport or visa expense and personal spending money. The fee covers portions of round trip airfare, orientation and debriefing costs.
